As the endless search for enhanced performance continues RGMotorsport have broken into a niche market by significantly improving the performance of the Mercedes VITO. All the perceived laziness of the VITO is negated by this conversion.
By introducing a new stainless steel performance exhaust system and a Unichip programmable piggyback ECU we have managed to improve the performance by as much as 30%.
Not only is the engine reprogrammed by means of this Unichip, but there is also other hardware added that raises the turbo boost by 0.3 Bar. This boost increase is still well within the vehicle manufacturers specification. All the data that is programmed into the Unichip is encrypted to prevent tampering.
The original exhaust system is replaced by a custom designed and built Stainless unit, that enhances performance and delivers a moderate crisp tone. The tailpipe is finished in polished stainless steel facing downwards.
Due to the increase in power and the fact that the vehicle will happily cruise in a higher gear a general improvement in fuel consumption can be expected.
