RGMotorsport is proud to release its latest Supercharge conversion for the new Chev Lumina 6.0lt V8. Our in-house Research & Development division decided to take this awesome vehicle and add the RGM touch to it. After successfully supercharging its predecessor the RGMotorsport team decided this particular vehicle was lacking in the horsepower division and decided to develop the RGM bolt on MRP Liquid charge cooled Supercharge conversion. This unique conversion is a complete bolt on conversion designed on the RGM Cad Cam program.

RGM/MRP LIQUID CHARGE COOLING. One of the unique features of this liquid charge cooler is that it is positioned directly in front of the intake manifold which allows for a very short boost track intern so increasing throttle response dramatically. All components for the liquid charge cooler are manufactured from aluminum and are highly polished, boost pipes are of a high pressure blue silicone nature and are secured with premier stainless steel hose clamps. This is a closed loop system that has its own header tank situated on the lower right side behind the front bumper for the purpose of lowering the centre of gravity and does not interfere with the vehicles cooling system what so ever. This charge cooling system has a 10 litre capacity of which 60% is glycol and 40% water. The charge cooler has a dual core for maximum efficiency. There is a dual Setrab heat exchanger mounted in the lower frontal spoiler area which has its own electric water pump for circulation purposes.

VORTECH V2 T– TRIM POLISHED SUPERCHARGER. We utilize the Vortech V2 T-Trim centrifugal supercharger unit which is renouned for its fairly quiet mechanical operation. There is high pressure oil feed to this unit for lubrication and cooling and a gravitational return to the engines sump. The Supercharger drive is transmitted via a 10 rib serpentine belt and a newly added crankshaft pulley. The crankshaft pulley, supercharger pulley, tensioner and idlers are manufactured from B51 (6082) aircraft aluminum which are CNC machined and hard anodized to ensure long term durability. All supercharger mounting components are laser cut and plated. All mounting nuts & bolts are of the highest quality plated tensiles and stainless steel.

 RECIRCULATION VALVE (DUMP VALVE). We utilize the RGM/EXCEL recirculation valve (dump valve) to ensure that this conversion is extremely driveable at light throttle positions as well as to maintain boost when all out performance is required.

 FUEL SYSTEM. A RGM rising rate fuel pressure regulator as well as an additional fuel pump is installed which is only activated on demand by the Unchip Q version. The standard fuel pump which is situated in the fuel tank is replaced with a Walbro 650 bhp volume fuel pump

ELECTRONICS The Unichip Q version which we utilize is a piggy back ecu that allows us to take control of the ignition timing and fuel. The road speed governor is also removed during the remapping process

RGM STAINLESS STEEL PERFORMANCE EXHAUST SYSTEM The above conversion is fitted with the RGM 63mm dual high performance stainless steel exhaust system which will give this vehicle a genuine muscle tone but will still be conservative to the ear.In addition we highly recommend the RGM ceramic coated high performance exhaust headers(manifold branches) with this conversion

BRAKES AND SUSPENSION UPGRADES When looking at the above conversion and taking into consideration the performance gains we decided to evaluate the braking and suspension systems and in conjunction with SAX suspension have developed a complete suspension package for this vehicle .There is the RGM front brake upgrade as well to give you that additional stopping power.
