RGMotorsport enters 2009 on a high note with the release of the latest RGM Liquid Charge Cooled Supercharge conversion. Hot on the heels of the RGM Supercharged Jeep SRT- 8 comes the Chrysler 300C SRT- 8. This being the latest supercharge conversion from the RGM stable. Our in-house Research & Development division decided to take this awesome vehicle and add the RGM touch to it. This unique conversion is a complete bolt on conversion designed with the aid of our RGM Cad Cam program. The Chrysler 300C SRT-8 is already a heavy-hitter in the power ball-park, weighing in with 316 kW (424bhp) and 569 Nm of torque and this goes to a heady 458 kW (613bhp) and 750 Nm of torque with the bolt on RGMotorsport Supercharge conversion

RGM/MRP LIQUID CHARGE COOLING. All components for this liquid charge cooler are manufactured from aluminum and are highly polished, boost pipes are of a high pressure blue silicone nature and are secured with premier stainless steel hose clamps. This is a closed loop system that has its own header tank situated on the lower right side behind the front bumper for the purpose of lowering the centre of gravity and does not interfere with the vehicles cooling system what so ever. This charge cooling system has a 9 litre capacity of which 60% is glycol (antifreeze) and 40% water. The charge cooler has a dual core for maximum efficiency. There is a dual Setrab heat exchanger mounted in the lower frontal spoiler area which has its own electric water pump for circulation purposes.

VORTECH V2 T– TRIM POLISHED SUPERCHARGER. The supercharger unit is manufactured by the renowned Vortech company, and in this case the unit used is a specially polished Vortech V2 T-Trim model, with a centrifugal design, running at a modest 0,5 bar boost. It features a high-pressure oil feed for lubrication and cooling with gravitational return to the engine’s sump. The unit’s operation is almost uncannily quiet thanks to the helical gear design utilized in the V2 T-Trim supercharger unit

RECIRCULATION VALVE (DUMP VALVE). We utilize the RGM/EXCEL recirculation valve (dump valve) to ensure that this conversion is extremely driveable at light throttle positions as well as to maintain boost when all out performance is required.

FUEL SYSTEM. A RGM rising rate fuel pressure regulator as well as an additional fuel pump is installed. The additional fuel pump will be activated only on demand by the Unichip
